This basic introduction workshop is designed for students to learn the technique of applying a photograph to fabric. Instruction covers discussion of color/value/print scale and how each impact the final artwork; preparing the photo; using an art quilters value scale card to choose fabric; the step by step process; thread painting the details, and finishing techniques–plus lots of tips and tricks along the way.
