Faux Reverse Applique Quilted Tote

Reminder of supplies to bring with you:

Sewing Machine - Power cord and the foot pedal

Embroidery Unit -embroidery foot and the single-hole plate

Machine Embroidery Hoops – Deluxe hoop or Quilter’s hoop or Elite hoop. Don’t forget the clips!

Stabilizer –Tear-away or Cut-away

Thread – #30 weight cotton thread with a bobbin to match

Needle –size #100 top-stitching

Embroidery design –outline quilting design from your machine              

Fabric -three different ½ to ¾ yard pieces of cotton fabric and ½ yard of low loft batting or fusible fleece

TO SAVE time please cut two 13” squares from each of the fabrics and the batting.  Bring the rest of the fabric with you.

 General sewing supplies –sharp pair of scissors for trimming fabric, fabric marking tool, maybe a ruler.

Embroidery Club. Learn the ins and outs of stabilizers, threads, and machine functions. The second Thursday of the month at 4:00 or 7:00 pm will give you a new project or idea. There is no membership fee and no commitment, for only $20.00 a session you can learn all about embroidery. You need to register for each class and bring your own supplies.
